Introduction to Creating Apps for Kids

I’ve been invited to speak to about creating apps for kids at Nook – a work and event space for artists and illustrators here in Toronto. I’m expecting it to be a pretty free-wheeling discussion about all the practicalities of the process. I’ve hand picked a number of articles and links to get people started [...]

For the past few years zinc Roe has supported a number of charities. It’s part of being a good corporate citizen. Everyone on our team puts forward the name of one charity to give to. It’s a great chance to learn more about all the great work that charities are doing both here at home [...]

Enjoying Austin

Things really get rolling at SXSW Interactive today. Luke and Davin (along with our unfaithful companion Crappy Cat) are still pouring over the schedule and laying down our plans for what should be a very busy few days. Ashok will be giving a bit of ‘behind-the-scenes’ tour of the process involved in [...]

Cheap Date Art Show

Don’t miss the opening of the Cheap Date at the Steamwhistle brewery on June 4. The group show includes work from number one super dude Aaron Leighton. Aaron is the creator of the Zimmer Twins characters and has provided illustrations for a number of our projects. I imagine Aaron wishes we would stop calling him with work and crazy project ideas. But no luck. Such is the price of being such a talented and hard working art machine.
